1.8 Crane Swing

Crane swing radius around counterbalance is danger taped or barricaded

• Barricades shall be, at a minimum, red DANGER tape.

• Barricades must encompass the entire swing of the counterbalance even if it is elevated above head height.

The entire swing radius of the rotating superstructure of a mobile crane shall be barricaded to prevent employees and/or equipment from entering the area. Barricades shall be, at a minimum, red DANGER tape.
