4.13 STANCHIONS ARE SECURE AND EVENLY SPACED

Stanchions are secure and evenly spaced.

Wood 2x4 stanchions should not be more than 8’ on center.

• Anchored/secured to maintain a minimum of a 200 lbs. outward and downward force without failing.

• Cable stanchions should be upright with no obvious signs of deformity especially at corners.

• Spacing of cable system stanchions can be greater than 8’ so long as the deflection of the cable is not greater than 39” above the walking working surface.
