5.6 SCAFFOLD IS SECURED TO STRUCTURE 

Scaffold is secured to structure when height is 4X the width of the base (protection from anticipated wind loads).

All multi-sectional scaffolding must be tied into the building or stable structure, at a minimum, every thirty feet (30’) horizontally and fifteen-feet (15’) vertically.
