6.1 PPE REQUIRED FOR ENERGIZED EQUIP.

PPE required that meets shock and arc flash protection requirements when working on or around energized equipment.

At a minimum use of non-conductive gloves, non-conductive safety glasses, Class E hard hat, clothing made of natural fiber or Arc Flash rate, and a FR (flame resistant) rated safety vest (if needed). If arc flash or arc blast hazard exists confirm Trade Partner has evaluated the Hazard Risk Category per NFPA 70E and used it determine appropriate level of worker PPE.
