The use of a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI) is required when utilizing extension cords, power tools, and/or electrical machinery that are connected to an electrical receptacle. The GFCI shall be placed at the receptacle. This shall be accomplished with either a GFCI receptacle or a portable GFCI device plugged into the receptacle.
