2.0 MOBILE EQUIPMENT CONTROLS

2.1 FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Forklift operator has current credentials on their person
2.2 EQUIPMENT INSPECTED
Equipment inspected and forms completed
2.3 SEAT BELT
Seat belt worn when provided on equipment
2.4 BACK-UP ALARM
Back-up alarm operational
2.5 20' FROM POWER LINES
Equipment and workers are at least 20' from overhead power lines
2.6 MEWPS TRAVEL
MEWPs are to travel only with platforms/basket in lowered position
2.7 FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Spotters used when equipment is moving and struck by/caught between hazard exists for ground personnel
2.8 SPEED LIMITS
Speed limits of 5 MPH shall not be exceeded for vehicles operated on the project
2.9 FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Eye contact with operator and acknowledgment
