7.0 STORED ENERGY/ELECTROCUTION CONTROLS
Are these controls in place?
7.1 FLAMMABLE LIQUIDS STORAGE
Flammable liquids are stored in approved metal storage cabinets clearly labeled "Flammable - Keep Away from Open Flames" or similar
7.2 CYLINDER TRUCK CHAIN
A suitable cylinder truck, chain, or other steadying device shall be used to keep cylinders from being knocked over while in use
7.3 COMPRESSED GAS CYLINDERS SHALL BE SECURED
Compressed gas cylinders shall be secured in an upright position at all times except while bein hoisted or carried
7.4 LP GAS STORAGE
LP gas (e.g. propane) cylinders shall be stored to minimize exposure to excessive temperature rises and physical damage (NFPA 58 8.2.1 -2020)
7.5 OXYGEN CYLINDERS STORAGE
Oxygen cylinders are stored at least 20' from fuel-gas cylinders or by use of a 5' non-combustible barrier
7.6 TEMP HEATER AND FUEL LINES INSPECTED
Temporary heater and fuel gas lines inspected
7.7 INSTALLATION OF TEMP GAS LINES
Qualified personnel install temporary gas lines
7.8 ACTIVE FIRE HYDRANTS ARE VISIBLE
Fire hydrants that are active on or around the site are clearly visible and accessible
7.9 INACTIVE FIRE HYDRANTS ARE MARKED
Fire hydrants that are NOT active on the site are bagged and marked as "out of service"
7.10 FIRE SUPRESSION SYSTEM WORKING IF ACTIVE
If active, fire suppression system is in proper working order
7.11 FIRE PLAN IN PLACE FOR TEMP DISABLED FIRE SYSTEM
If active fire suppression system is temporarily being taken out of service, a fire control plan is in place
7.12 ACTIVE SMOKE DETECTION SYSTEM IS WORKING
If active, smoke detection system is in proper working order
7.13 FIRE PLAN IN PLACE FOR TEMP DISABLED SMOKE SYSTEM
If active smoke detection system is temporarily being taken out of service, a fire control plan is in place
7.14 FIRE EXTINGUISER AT EVERY STAIR LANDING
Fire extinguisher adjacent to top of every stair landing
7.15 FIRE EXTINGUISHERS EVERY 3000SF
Fire extinguishers every 3000sf
7.16 TAILY HOT WORK PERMIT
Daily hot work permit filled out, posted, and signed by involved parties
7.17 FIRE EXTINGUISHER FOR HOT WORK
Fire extinguisher in place specific for each hot work assignment
7.18 FIRE WATCH
Fire watch present and understand their responsibilities
